Imagination is Free

Imagination is Free: HEATWAVE HEROES is a playful book series that turns everyday moments into magical adventures. Created by George St. Thomas, each story is inspired by real walks through the neighborhood; using the world as his canvas he paints vivid stories that jump of the page and into your imagination. In Heatwave Heroes, a city scorches under a brutal summer heatwave, until a mysterious ice cream truck drops off magical markers in the park. The kids bring fire hydrants to life and whatever else they can imagine turning the streets into a joyful, water filled block party. It’s a wild reminder, imagination isn’t just free it’s powerful.

Imagination is Free: Heatwave Heroes

Heatwave Heroes is now live as an exclusive audio and visual story on YouTube. We’re currently crowdfunding to bring the book to life in print, with a goal of raising $20,000.
Your support will help:
• Hire a professional illustrator. (Although AI generated images serves its purpose to bring you visuals, a human being brings spirit to the book)
• Print the first 100 copies of the book.
• Develop an interactive website
• Develop interactive workshops for students around the city of Los Angeles.
These workshops will help students focus on ways to use their imagination to get the most out of their areas of creativity. With your help, Heatwave Heroes will not only be a book it’ll be a movement of imagination, empowerment, and possibility
